"Nice restaurant with a good view of ID/Chinatown. I particularly like the layout with the quieter, more family oriented seating on the south end of the restaurant while the bar and noisier section is on the north end. The food was good and the staff was friendly as well."

This place is located on the second floor above the Pink Gorilla Used Games Shop. You have to go to a building to find it! Taste: I was already four times in Fort St. George and every time I had another meal. Curry udon, katsu don, Bento meal, and meat garlic Mayo spaghetti. The taste can best be described as “heart and home”. All I had was true comfort food, and each product is quite delicious. I always leave content! Price: You have recently increased their prices a few dollars, but with ingredients more and more expensive, you cannot accuse them. I would say a ground meal will probably cost you $17 19 plus tax and tip now. Quantity: Your food portions are quite large, so the price increas...

Discover This Japanese comfort eating gemstone thanks to the Google Maps restaurant search, as neither the restaurant name nor external signage gives hints about what visitors expect. The second story restaurant overlooks the park next door and is super casual with grunge rock playing on the sound system and Adult Swim on the TV during our visit. I was surprised and happy to find that Japanese comfort food is very similar to the food that mom cooked up in a small town in Mississippi. Everything was delicious, the Weingüsse were generous and the staff was friendly. Will definitely go back to try more menu items.

While the service was good, the food was not so good. It wasn’t all bad, the potato croquette and sauce were pretty good! The salads and miso soup were good, too. The veggies table tempura was oily, but good. Unfortunately, I’m stuck on the fried cod, which was hard and chewy. It was a main in our bento, so that was especially disappointing. Nothing was great, but something was bad. The environment and atmosphere could also use some improvement. Overall, it was alright but I don’t think I’ll return!

LOVED this spot! The food is Japanese diner/comfort food and was delicious. We got the omurice and the beef curry. The service was extremely fun/friendly and the vibe in this place is excellent. They were playing techno, bowie, old 70s punk records and the place looks kinda like a nightclub. Had a nice comfortable chatter level but not too noisey.
