After recently seeing Chef Petroni on DDD, we stopped in for Friday lunch on our way up to CT. Wasn't busy yet soon after opening, although the shopping center was pretty busy. From a COVID standpoint, seems like everyone was following guidelines. Most people in the shopping center were wearing masks properly, even outside of the stores in the parking lot. Everyone in Fortina we saw were as well. One-way directional flow signs inside. Tables were properly distanced. We grabbed a table outside, since it was a nice morning with great weather. Building threw shade on the outdoor tables. Menu is online via Toast. They provide a QR code to get to the menu, and you have to order and pre-pay throug...

The food was very good. But the waiter had a very unwelcoming attitude. I asked for a towel to wipe off a big puddle on the table. He told me I should have waited to be seated so he could have given me a clean table. But there was no one at the door when we came in. No podium, no sign. And the place was pretty much empty. He told me that you should ask to be seated at any restaurant. He wiped off the table, but there was still a sticky spot. While I was at the restroom, my friend asked him to clean it and he gave him the same attitude . He showed impatience while we were ordering and brought our food at all different times. It was so bizarre. There were only about 5 tables of customers in th...

Yesterday was my first, but certainly not my last, visit to this restaurant. For years Patsy's on 1st Ave between 117th and 118th Steet in Manhattan was top on my list. However, they now are placed 2nd since my visit to Fortina's. I want to thank all for a very personal experience. The staff were very professional and obviously enjoyed working there. The dining area was huge and the cleanliness was exceptional. But the taste of the fresh pizza EXCEEDED my expectations. I look forward to future visits here. KEEP UP YOUR HIGH WORK ETHICS AND COOKING SKILLS!!!!

After we wait a long time with the server that told us that the food is coming, we later said that our ticket was lost. Not sure how it happened since we got some of our food items. The manager came by to compile the 2 remaining articles, but then had to wait again for the items to be packed. The service was dejoined, there was no record of everything. The food was. Not worth the inconvenience of the bad service. I'm out of town and I dive here several times, but it'll be hard to convince people here again.
