Pizza is good, but a hair undercooked.. Pizza is one of these meals that seems to work every day of the week and is not old. Some pizza is even better, the few days it sits in the refrigerator and you entice. Heat your pizza over and over again or use the toaster oven to keep the floor from getting dirty and soggy. When I went to Fortunato for the first time, I got a pasta and sausage dish that I destroyed in a shorter time to make it. I recommend it to everyone. The pizza at the next table had to drown me like a calzone even after filling, so on my second trip I ordered a big one with paprika and sausage. Great food. I will sure be hitting up this italian spot again for dinner soon. great prices, amazing food. Had garlic knots, a taste of calzone and a sausage parm sandwhich. the fries were so good and the sausage parm was phenominal. I can't wait to eat there again. Service wasn't very good and dining is small and shabby but I really look forward to checking out their pizza and some more italian dishes
No better pizza in St Pete. I need to find even better pizza (except John's in The Village NYC ANYWHERE! My favourite is to add the Veggie Special and sausage. They use fresh ingredients (saved baby bell mushrooms...mmmmmmmm and will adapt everything for you (can not decide on a meatball parm or sausage parm sub DON'T they will be half a half! .
Always great food, friendly atmosphere and great service. I've been here since Vinny was responsible. The family has received excellence and kept prices very reasonable. Can be the best steak cheese in the area!
