I always stop here for an ice cream when passing through, but I may stop doing that. My son ordered a medium banana shake and after a long wait at the drive through, he received a kid size. When I said we had ordered a medium, the young lady working the window said that I didn't. She said, in a belligerent manner, that she had repeated the order back to me and that I had confirmed. What she SHOULD have done, having worked in food service myself, was apologize for the miscommunication, make a medium, and charge me the difference. She needs some food service training. There's nothing quite like the warm hospitality of a small town, and the friendly staff here truly exemplify that. The restaurant was clean, and the parking lot and facilities, including the restrooms, were well-maintained. The only reason I rated it four stars instead of five is that there was quite a bit of grease and barbecue sauce on the outside of the wrapper. While it wasn't a major issue, it did make for a bit of a mess while eating. I was dining inside at the time, but if I had taken it to my vehicle, it would have been a different story.
We hadn't visited since the restaurant changed hands. We stopped by for a quick meal, but it wasn't busy and it still took 30 minutes for our food to arrive. While the food was good, the slow service was hard to overlook. There was no excuse for the delay. Additionally, the tables needed to be cleaned. The new order and pickup window is too small, and the area where you used to place orders is now closed off, which makes it difficult to see what's happening in the kitchen. I gave it 3 stars due to the quality of the food.
I’m thrilled to have discovered this place! The Boss Burger was fantastic, and the fried zucchini was delicious. The Orange Freeze was a hit too. There were plenty of other ice cream enthusiasts around. They offer indoor seating, a drive-thru option, and outdoor patio seating as well. Overall, it was a great experience with minimal issues. Perfect for a relaxing lunch after a busy day!

The chili cheese fries had very little chili, and the banana split featured only a tiny scoop of ice cream with no fresh banana. However, the service was excellent, so I would rate it a 5, and the atmosphere also deserves a 5. I recommend trying the fried zucchini and the strawberry sundae. Overall, the takeout meal cost around $10-20 per person. Food rating: 1.
Overall, the food is quite delicious. The service can be a bit slow occasionally, but I understand that they might be busy. I frequently go there for their burgers, fries, and onion rings.
If you're a fan of chili cheese hot dogs, this is the spot for you! The ice cream is fantastic as well. You might have to wait a little while for your food, but it's definitely worth it.
