The food was very tasty with a good selection, brilliant salad bar to compliment the mains. Deserts were also plentiful with fresh waffles and pancakes being made. The resturant is in a good spot overlooking the Southwater lake and convenient for the park to work it off in afterwards (for adults and children . My only negative is that it wasn't as clean as it could have been. Crockery and cutlery not washed well so had to root for a suitable plate to use.
Food was ok quite a bit of it was rubbery and over heated and re heated. Salad was starting to go soggy and off, noodles were hard and burnt. Watermelon was dry! Never had dry watermelon wouldn't recommend it. Felt like a let down came for my daughters birthday expecting lots of choice and there wasn't, loads of space for other dishes and wasn't anything there. Paid too much for what we ended up with
This was the second time we had visited and this time we took my parents for their Birthdays. The food is lovely with a good variety. I do think the desert section could be better. The chocolate from the fountain tastes very chesp. Although the ice cream is quite nice. Think it just needs a re think. All in all very nice and I would recommend to friends and family and I would definitely go back.
Although the food was nice it was poor that we could have no draught beers as they were being cleaned and then they ran out of ice cream mix for the whippy machine and this was only 230 in the afternoon And the staff apart from the lad who sat us were all a bit miserable bit of moral boosting is needed Book a table now
Excellent food and service ,the only thing that let's it down is the men's and ladies toilets.my husband said the gents were filthy.i visited the ladies,all 3 toilets were brown stained in the bottom they need bleach ! It's a shame because up to that point we were very impressed.
We enjoyed a pre-theatre meal on a Tuesday before seeing La Cage aux Folles at the nearby Hippodrome. The service was quick and we were seated promptly at our table. The total cost was around £16 including drinks.
Very disappointed, quality of food was very poor. It was very dry as it had been sat for a long time. We were celebrating my birthday and I wished we hadn't visited. I will not be recommending this restaurant.
I went to this restaurant for a farewell party and was quite disappointed. The tofu vegetable stir fry did not taste very good, possibly because the courgettes were old. Book a table now
Fabulous find and excellent vfm and service. Went lunchtime plenty of choice and quickly replaced items that were popular. Definitely recommend and will go again.
