We haven't had Taiwanese noodles for some times now. Since I can't compare, so I don't want to give any unfair comment. This place is very nicely decorated and comfortable. All 4 dishes ordered were tasty to our standard. I do recall I had more tender pork belly somewhere else prior to the pandemic, but forgot where. The dessert (not photographed here) was the best part of our meal, and it was a red bean coconut cake. May not be the best to my memory, but I will revisit this place.
I loved the Taiwanese braised pork rice (here pictured) and the tomaten rindmeat noodle soup but the braised beef with noodle sauce my friend ordered came a little cold and was not so good in comparison to the other two dressed. we tried to order black beans, but they were out. the black and the chive steamed noodle that we ordered, instead had a strange sharp taste and the bark meat roll had waxed paper that stuck to it. I would stay at this place with popular options.
we had a quick brunch in this fine facility. due to the pandemic the place was not crowded and the service was excellent. the bark soup and appetizers were delicious; the price is also appropriate. we actually ordered some takeout of this restaurant couple days later that the bark was excellent over the rice dish. overall we enjoyed eating at this ice cream and would visit it again if we visited flushing in the near future.
Can't compare this to other Taiwanese beef noodles in NYC to see if it was comparable, but thought the spicy beef noodles were just OK. The noodles felt like they were a bit soggy, the beef was just small chunks that were not very tender, but the soup had good flavor. The small dishes like tofu, seaweed knots, and egg were good, had no complaints about it. Book a table now

Braised beef noodles soup and Gua BAO/ pork and beef! The soup was delicious and beefy! Great for a cold evening! Been there twice already! Really good!
We bought the beef noodles soup via takeout. And the broth was oily, there was barely any beef, and the takeout boxes leaked. Definitely not good.
Had the tomato beef and tendon. Tendon was nice and soft. Rest was fine but definitely have had better beef noodle soup. Book a table now
cannot go wrong with the braided bark soup. the broth is very rich and tasty! will recommend my friends and family.
