This has long been one of my favorite places for breakfast, but after this latest visit, I doubt I will return. We arrived about 9:30 on a weekday morning, were seated very quickly. Shortly after bringing our menus, the waitress returned and said they were changing stations and someone else would take our order. This is the third time I've had barely edible food here. Once upon a time F&G was decent but not anymore. I'm vegan so it's never my first choice but I come with friends when they want to eat here and am always willing to make do with whatever I can find to eat. I don't have high expectations for vegan options in restaurants like this, but I don't get why the kitchen even bothers having tempeh on the menu because they have absolutely no idea how to prepare it. Traveled all over the world and this British Pub is one of the best and authentic restaurants in California. Been coming here for years and they are consistent with everything they make. Just ate breakfast there. It was a very good bacon and cheese omelet. Average price around $16 with the ability to create multiple variations of ingredients for omelets. I really liked the layout, it was the classic wooden pub style. It wasn't busy at 7:00 AM and the service was excellent.Food: 5/5
This place is very charming. As you walk up to the first doors, you’re greeted by well kept flower beds. The wait staff collectively had a warm and welcoming demeanor. My pie was delicious. The portions are large.
