this little hidden gem is amazing. book them for an overnight as it went to coldplay. last night we had beautiful fish and chips in the bar and a delicious breakfast this morning. our room was perfect with everything you need. it's in the country, but taxis are back and forth to the cardiff stage. would be highly recommended and would return again. personal beautiful and helpful.
Lovely, clean, quaint hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were so friendly and went over and above the call of duty to make us welcome. The food is really excellent even down to their breads and jams which were all made on the premises. I would highly recommend this place.
Warm welcome, clean comfortable rooms. Superb food and a wholesome breakfast. Oh and they sell beer!! One of many reasons I stay every year when working in the area. A little gem hidden away in a sleepy village. If you're passing, pop in . You won't be disappointed.....
Great place to stay, very welcoming owners. The rooms were well decorated and very comfy. Food good and well presented. No mobile signal but it was quite welcome for a change. Stayed for business and will request this place next time I am in the area. Book a table now

this is a beautiful, historical pub in a beautiful historical village, in the heart of the vale of glamorgan, between barry and cowbridge llancarfan can now be tiny,
I visited Fox and hounds for many years as a child. we had always nice eating there and I loved the little stream that ran next to sadly we went there.
Had lunch here to celebrate my husband’s Birthday, it was the best meal we have had in a long time! Food and service superb. We will be back soon!! Book a table now

"Popped in at 2.15 pm on a quiet Friday- asked very unfriendly landlady if we could play darts- she refused saying it is only for darts team to use and that tables were booked. Only table used was no where near the dart board."
