We were 3 couples visiting Montreal for a long weekend. We'd made reservations at 3 well rated restaurants. At the end of the weekend, we all agreed that while we'd had much beautiful, delicious food, the Foxy experience was our favorite. Sasha, our server, suggested we consider getting one of each appetizer and one of each entree to share among our group. Great idea! My favorite starter was the shrimp ceviche and favorite entree was the roasted cassoulet with sauce, but there were no bad choices. Went here as a couples night out a few times and the service as well as the food is a hit or miss. With so many good restaurants in Montreal one needs to try to stand out. The last time I went the service was horrible waiters and host pretty rude. The vibe in there was so Bad we didn't even stay.Amazing how once these restaurants gain some fame service starts spiralling downwards.If you are in the area try the Richmond. Food is good but the service is awesome! Friendly and happy staff.
Best meal of a 5-day trip to Montreal. The feta and peaches appetizer was probably one of my top 5 dishes of all time. fantastic waiter who was charming and informative, lovely wines, great dishes, brilliant desserts. My only minor complaint was the Coquelet, which was somewhat difficult to maneuver on the table- it was challenging to cut off the bone in a small space. Otherwise a wonderful, mouthwateringly good meal.
Bad service, it was booked in advance for a birthday, it was not received like other restaurants, it was never mentioned that it was a special occasion (birthday), not even in the dessert, and the piece of meat like it was in Water thawed, tasteless, uncooked and hard, I don't think we will be back, this is the third time we go and it was very bad, I don't recommend it

All very good, good food, good prices, the only bad thing is that the waiters have to pay more attention to the menu, the one who served us didn't know the starters and we ended up asking for the recommendation but it wasn't bad for it wasn't an entrance outside of that it's an excellent place worth what it costs, very nice and cozy.
Service is still lacking and slow. The food is good, although unfortunately the taste of the dishes varied several times.
Very rich food and sufficient portions. Clean facilities and comfortable chairs. Very attentive server.
