"I ordered a number 2 pizza with tomatoes, Violife cheese, basil, and added mushrooms. My girlfriend chose the vegan special of the day with paprika and vegan mint, and also added mushrooms. The pizzas were delicious and fresh, and at under £10, they were a good value. Overall, I wasn't blown away, but Franco Manca is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a tasty pizza at a reasonable price."

I visited Franco Manca a few years ago, before transitioning to a vegan diet, and was impressed by their pizza. So, I decided to return with some friends to try their vegan options. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and cozy decor, and the staff were very friendly. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the menu, as it was not as vegan-friendly as I had hoped. They offer a vegan special each day and allow you to swap mozzarella for Violife vegan cheese on any pizza. But beyond that, there were limited choices and it wasn't always clear which pizzas would be vegan once the cheese was swapped. I ended up choosing the number 2 pizza with tomato, Violife cheese, basil, and added mushrooms...

I opted for the number 2 pizza with tomato, Violife cheese, basil, and added mushrooms. My friend chose the vegan special of the day with paprika and vegan mint toppings (also with mushrooms). The pizzas were tasty and fresh, and at under £10, they were good value. However, I wasn't completely blown away. Having been spoiled with pizza from Purezza recently, Franco Manca is definitely worth a visit for those looking for a decent pizza at a reasonable price.
