My wife and I went out for a quick dinner together for the first time in years, and the meal was amazing! She ordered the chicken fettuccine, while I had the chicken parmesan. She thought her dish was great, but mine was excellent. The chicken and cheese combination was perfect. Our dinners came with salad and pasta, both of which were generous portions that we couldn't finish. The total bill came out to less than $35, making it a very pleasant surprise for us.
Despite all the hype surrounding some of the more popular pizzerias in the Caldwell area, sometimes the traditional pizzerias are overlooked. Franco has been around for a long time and doesn't try to reinvent the wheel with a fancy, thin crust pizza. Their classic New York style pizza is delicious and we really enjoyed it, especially the cakes.
Fantastic! The food was hot when I took it up and although I had forgotten to ask for ketchup, it turns out that I didn't even have to when it came with the Philly Steak. Come on! 11 months later edit: Still great! Very nice hosts and great food. Francos is a wonderful restaurant that I can revive at any time.
A nice little mother and pop shop that is always a good go-to when it is for dinner or just a short slice or two. You get an excellent quality of food for the price of your payment and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Definitely one of the best pizzerias in the West Essex area. Book a table now
Finally, a pizza like I remember from childhood. I grew up locally and come back to visit. This pizza is thin with crisp crust and plenty of cheese. The house salad has great additions like breaded eggplant and marinated mushrooms.
They get 5 stars for the pizza they sent to my house. Crispy but soft crust delicious classic pizza like your remember from your golden days. Great job Franco’s!!!!
Best pizza. We live a couple towns away and always come here for their food. You can't beat an old school pizzeria like this.
