At 55 years old, I found the place to have a youthful vibe, which might not be ideal for young children, but my 15-year-old had a great time. Our server, Jennifer, was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. The restaurant is attentive to dietary restrictions and is well-informed about allergens when asked about the ingredients. We dined in for dinner, and the price per person ranged from $50 to $100. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars. I highly recommend trying the crab cakes!
This is an amazing discovery! It’s a charming, cozy restaurant in Glencoe with incredible food and a staff that treats you like family. We enjoyed the butternut squash soup (the best I’ve ever tasted), a fresh and crispy Caesar salad, delicious Amish duck, and fantastic lamb shanks. Our server, Jennifer, was very friendly and attentive, and the owner, Michael, is so warm and welcoming that you instantly feel at home. Dining here feels like having a meal at a lovely cafe in Europe, making it feel like a romantic getaway.

We've lived in the neighborhood for 12 years and always walked past this unassuming restaurant front. Our mistake. It's the friendliest group of locals and great great food. It's an older group that dines here, all locals. But we loved this experience. Give it a go on a night where you want good food but don't feel like getting into your Sunday best.

Hidden gem conveniently located near the Hubbard Woods Metra stop. Delicious food and great value when you consider that a soup/salad, veggies, and rice/potatoes comes with every entree. We had a wonderful experience dining here for my son's 26th birthday. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The service was superb; our server and the busboy were incredibly helpful and attentive, and they took the time to explain the specials for the evening. We will definitely be back for lunch and dinner again!
I have been going there for over 20 years. The food and Service is superb, and has been so, consistently for over 20 years, there has been a slight change in ownership, with the former maître D now serving as manager owner. The food was fantastic! All four of us would definitely return. We really enjoyed the quiche, hamburger, cod sandwich, and the beef and celery entrée. And we couldn't resist a big slice of chocolate mousse cake! Thank you. We can't wait for our next visit!
