COVID aside, food hyenine should be top priority. The women who operate 'Franks Cucina ' in the 660 White Plains Rd Café need a refresher course! They use the same gloves over and over after taking them off to use the register or after placing them in their pockets and putting them on again. I 've witnessed now on more than one occasion scooping toppings with their gloved hands instead of spoons, way to contaminate. One of them snacks from the cheeses or hot food bar and will continue to serve you with the same gloved hands. Just common sense for food safety that is missed. Such a shame since they just reopened after a long renovation and raised prices.
I went to pick up a coffee and butter roll, the old man at the counter (I think is the new owner, and this place used to be very good, not any more) says to me, “give me $3.00 and get out of here before I hit you”. Wow, really? He thinks he was joking with me, that’s not a Joke, I should of thrown the coffee at him, but I didn’t and he will not be getting a cent from me ever again. BTW if you like coffee that tastes like it came from a wet sock then this place is for you.
The deli prominently displays political views throughout the establishment, which may not be suitable for families with young children. While everyone is entitled to their own opinions and can express them as they wish, they should also consider the potential consequences, such as losing customers. I, for one, won’t be returning.
Wow! After reading all these negative reviews, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on Frank's. During my time working nearby, I visited Frank's regularly, and it was fantastic. The Italian bread was delicious. It's such a disappointment to see that this great place has fallen on hard times!

Doesn't seem anywhere as good as it use to be. I'm not sure what has changed. It's still a good deli. But like always, it's always crowded when I happen to stop. And it's always pretty pricey. But maybe the crowd still says something.
Fantastic!!! The food is absolutely delicious. Hot entrees are great!! But the sandwiches are unbelievable!!! The selection is endless, the bread is the real deal, their salads are homemade.....my new favorite place on the North End.
This lovely neighborhood deli and cafe offers fantastic sandwiches. They also serve freshly baked muffins. The staff is hardworking and attentive to customers' needs.
