Ordered for takeout two nights in a row. Ordered calamari, pizza and wings the first night and then did an order of bruschetta, calamari, wings and a family pack of baked ziti. For the price of the larger order 78), it was a great amount of food and everything was freaking delicious!The bruschetta was light and refreshing with the basil adding a lovely fragrance. The calamari and wings were fresh and delicious and the baked ziti was absolutely divine. A major issue I've noticed in Italian restaurants in the area is that their baked pasta dishes are often overcooked and mushy but the ziti was perfectly al dente and the sauce wasnt too acidic which were a major pluses for my food critic wife....
The food here is so delicious! I recommend the pizza, wings, calamari, and bruschetta for date night or a tasty family meal with appetizers. The calamari was fresh and fried perfectly which is hard to find here on the West End. The natural flavors of the ingredients are the STARS with each dish. If you want freshly prepared dishes cooked with passion then Frank's is the place for you!
I recently took a trip to try all of the fatty acid alfredo dishes at restaurants in the RVA area. The alfredo here was incredibly delicious and creamy! I also tried their pizza which was also top-notch. The calamari and tiramisu were good, but not the best I've had. The oyster poboy was tasty, but a bit too heavy for my liking. Overall, I would recommend checking out this restaurant!
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the chicken Marsala and received a portion size that was more suitable for a child than an adult. The prices were high for the small amount of food I received. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This is an amazing Italian restaurant, run by a loving family. They have a fantastic wine selection and a full bar. The pasta dishes are absolutely delicious. The white pizza is outstanding, and the homemade tiramisu is to die for. The staff is great and provides friendly service.
be very careful with this restaurant. I often came up to a few weeks ago. Last time I was there in December when I came to lunch, I saw the owner attacking a young woman outside the facility. I will never support this business again.
What a pleasant surprise! I'm usually not a fan of pizza, but I had a craving for it and decided to order one. It was fantastic! I even took two leftover slices home and enjoyed them the next day.
