I had a craving for homemade pasta on a rainy day, and my visit to this restaurant did not disappoint. The interior was distinctive, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was laid-back. Fortunately, I found the dish I was seeking. The tagliatelle was soft and had a texture reminiscent of tofu sheets, while the rigatoni had a chewier bite. The boar ragu was rich in flavor, and the rigatoni had a light, perhaps lemony taste that evoked feelings of summer. Overall, both dishes were incredibly satisfying on a chilly, rainy day.
My family and I had an early dinner at Franks Wine and it was the best meal we’ve had in months. Every dish we ordered—from the tasty prawn starter to the mushroom pasta and steaks—was perfectly cooked. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere; we enjoyed sitting in the booths and had a wonderful dining experience. For dessert, we tried the budino, which completely impressed us! I highly recommend giving it a try.
Franks is an elegant yet laid-back wine bar that focuses on Italian wines. While I haven't sampled their cocktails, the selection appears impressive. It's one of the rare establishments that serves Champagne by the glass. The restaurant is situated on a corner and boasts a delightful seating area both indoors and outdoors. It's an ideal location for a romantic date or a lovely dinner enjoyed with excellent wine.

The prices are on the higher side, but the quality is worth it, as you can expect fresh ingredients and homemade pasta. Plus, their tiramisu is absolutely delicious! During our visit, our server was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall enjoyable experience.

Franks is a very upscale yet relaxed wine bar with a focus on Italian wines. Their cocktail list looks great but I haven’t tried any either. One of the few places that has actual Champagne by the glass. The place is on the corner and has a greatoutside and inside. Great date spot or dinner wine spot.
Serves Italian dishes with good choices of wine and cocktails. It’s very pricey. But you know you get fresh ingredients and home made pasta. So it sort of makes up for it. Oh and their tiramisu is soooo good! Also, while we were there our server wasnice and friendly.
The food and service at Frank's Wine were exceptional. The dishes struck a perfect harmony of flavors and were incredibly tasty. I would certainly return for another meal.
Wine list, service. Beautiful appetizers citrus salad and meatballs were perfect starters. Sweet neighborhood and great outdoor seating. They don't offer espresso.
