I give Fred's Seafood four stars for its amazing and affordable seafood, though the ambiance leaves something to be desired. It's a charming local spot that feels like a hidden gem. The restaurant offers large portions of freshly fried seafood alongside a fresh seafood market. I ordered the fried mussel and scallop plate for $17, while my wife enjoyed the fish and chips for $7.65. I highly recommend Fred's to anyone looking for delicious, fresh fried seafood at very reasonable prices. They also serve chowder, lobster bisque, and lobster rolls in two sizes.
Billy is retiring, and his last day will be Friday, July 2nd. In my opinion, it's the best seafood around. It will certainly be missed and will be hard to replicate. I wish Billy all the best in his well-deserved retirement, and I plan to be there on Friday to shake his hand and thank him in person.
Fred's has always served the best fried seafood, fresh fish, and their lobster bisque and chowders are fantastic! I wish Fred and his family a happy retirement, and my family will definitely miss the amazing food!
