Fresh Basil Cafe - Table reservation

My husband and I and our 2 children came for dinner and although the menu looks healthy and good options, the QUALITY is EXTREMELY LOW! The chicken was like rubber pieces and in any case microwave, not cooked on a stove or grill. Texture didn't even look like chickens. Just like the salmon - very fishy, texture didn't even look like salmon, and seemed to be cooked in a microwave - maybe so that they get food so quickly. Quinoa was not edible. We took a few bites, and all of them threw away our food. The next morning, 3 OUT of 4 of us were with STOMACH PAINS. No safe place to eat and I knew it during dinner so we threw it away. It was really busy when we were there. We were able to snag a table and food was out in under 10 minutes despite it being packed. We both got paninis and our friends go a pizza and a panini. The paninis were not over cooked so they were nice and crispy and they have a lot of varieties to pick from. We had the Havana Night and the Albacore. The pizza had pepperoni, onion, banana pepper with red sauce and cheese. It was overall a really nice experience. Expect to pay about $30 for two people and drinks. It was one of the only places open on a Monday during lunch that had a good variety. If you're looking for a quick bite, I would definitely suggest this place.

The Panini I had was nothing less amazing. Fresh mozzarella and spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, ham, sharp bread... Hmmmm. The service was something on the slow side, but it was worth waiting.

We had two large pizzas for take out and they were very good. The service was fast and the full menu looked delicious

Really great food, a nice selection. Interior and outdoor seats and cheap prices! Your Speck Royale is super tasty
