I have purchased fish and chips from Fresh Fry a couple of times. It arrived nice and hot. The chips and fish were fresh and well-cooked with crispy batter. Mushy peas piping hot. We had haddock and a substantial portion was delivered so very good value for money. The delivery guy was very polite and courteous. These are southern fish and chips and quite excellent. I am from the north of England and things are a bit different there. So if Fresh Fry made proper Northern-style fish with no skin, it would be even better. Hehe. Very delicious all the same. And we had pudding too. Thank you.
I thought i would try Fresh Fry as my local was closed due to a family bereavement. The fish crumbled when i cut into it which is usually a sign that the fish was frozen and not fresh. Th chips were ok and the mushy peas was too hot (a sign that it was microwaved), very runny and no taste. I now remember why i stopped buying from here in the first place.

the quality of the meal was of the highest standard, fish tasted like it had just been caught. prior to the main meal one is served with a salad. the ambiance is pleasant and witth good service. A extensive Menu makes it all a an enjoyable visit.

We have been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. In particular the grilled salmon is amazing. Fantastic service too even though we only go there every couple of months, they always remember us.
Very good portions of fresh fish. Grilled cod excellent with large salad. Haddock in matzo meal delicious, no trace of grease. Portions very generous staff friendly, service good.
