Popped in to our ‘local’ today and on the spur of the moment decided to order some food. I had a small breakfast, complete with black pudding, beans, egg, sausage, fried bread, tomatoes and bacon. My husband had sausages, eggs and chips homemade. Both meals were plentiful and excellent. We were pampered and very well looked after by Steve and Rachel..
A really welcoming bar with a proper 'local community ' feel to it. There is always a warm welcome for strangers and regulars alike, and the food (especially the Sunday carvery) is always excellent all at very reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommended.
One of the best Sunday lunches we have found locally. Lashings of meat lamb, beef or chicken or a combination. Five different vegetables plus Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes!! Yummy!! No room for dessert.
A little slice of uk, pub bar, relaxing chilled feeling, meet friends, use as your local drinking hole, have a bite to eat typical pub style uk type food, good but not restaurant class.
