Whether you need lettuce, celery, onions, watercress, tomatoes, oranges, grapes, or avocados, they've got it all and it’s all fresh. Plus, they often have sales on produce that needs to be sold, so you can snag deals like a head of lettuce for 50 cents or 5 ripe tomatoes for just $1. If you're planning a meal like sausage and peppers, be sure to check out their sale rack! I visit once a week to stock up on my favorites. The staff is super friendly, and you'll find everything you need here.
I visited this place for the first time and was impressed by the variety of items that are hard to find at regular supermarkets. I picked up some much-needed alfalfa sprouts for my little birds, as well as some hearty pretzels from Uncle Jerry's, straight from Pennsylvania—one of my favorite vacation spots. I will definitely return to the Fruit Warehouse for their wide selection of fruits and vegetables and for their excellent prices. Thank you!
The restaurant has undergone significant changes with the new ownership, along with the impact of COVID-19. Prices have skyrocketed, and the quality of food seems to have declined, possibly due to fewer customers. Nowadays, many items are actually cheaper at the supermarket (S&S LB), and, as mentioned below, many of the specials require you to purchase items in pairs.
It's a little off the beaten path and is located in Island Park. An excellent selection of fruit and vegetables. Pricing is fair, however, the fruit was delicious, and water quickly consumed by our guests. I recommend you check Fruit Warehouse deli out. Book a table now
Best produce grocery store EVER! I can't understand why anyone would rate this place less than 5 stars unless they have ridiculously high standards. Visit it yourself and you'll see why it deserves all the praise!
You can't find better prices than these! I really wish I had discovered this place earlier. Considering the current inflation, these prices are unbeatable.
Most of the time we went here they have fresh fruits of different kinds. We live their varieties of vegetables and other juices. Price wise competitively.
