Hacia mucho que no fui al Restaurante Frutas en #Torremolinos y fui con deseo: 1. Saladilla rusa (13,2 € la aclamada ensalada rusa de la fruta se ha convertido en una más de las buenas ensaladas pero no de las mejores, la mayonesa no tiene gusto de camarones y textura como antes y lo peor para mí, que lo sirven frío. Aunque el precio con el resultado me parece una gran pizca. 3. Copa Pochas con almejas. Bueno, sabrosa cuchara en un día frío perfecto, pero nada excepcional. This was a birthday lunch with friends. The ambience, service, food and wine were all superb. The waiters were friendly and helpful, abd served everything perfectly. The restaurant is light and bright with white linen table clothes and napkins. The food was delicious and well presented. The shared starters of Russian salad, calamares, and croquettes were all excellent. Our maibs of leg of lamb, sea bass, hake, and steak tartare were equally good. The theatre of preparing the tartare at the table was fun and the result was absolutely superb. The house red was also very good and served at the right temperature. We had a faultless afternoon!
We arrived about 4pm but was told that dinner was possible to order. We got a starter, main dish and coffee total price Eur 71. The food came very fast without any pause between starter and main course. The food quality was high and the restaurant was quiet without music very nice. We will surely come again if possible.
