This place is awful. I can never seem to stay away, even though I usually don’t remember leaving. The beer is so bad that I keep returning for more. The trick is to drink their awful beer enough times so you forget how bad it really is. As for the bar staff, I've complained so frequently that they now greet me by name and serve me the same terrible drink I had the night before. I’ll try to steer clear of this place in the future, but I have no doubt I’ll end up there again tomorrow night.
Finally made our first visit.....but only because u insisted on opening while we were on holiday Place looks fantastic, the same great selection of beers, wines and spirits as well as a smorgasbord of loveliness on the meat/cheese menu. Well done Alex and team, can't wait to come back again soon.
What a lovely place! I had a wonderful Sunday night here. The selection of beers is impressive, and they also offer board games, a delicious cheese platter, and the best whisky, all in a cozy candlelit atmosphere. I met some fascinating people and truly enjoyed my time. I can't wait to return!
