I have never had such bland and dry sushi before, and I have tried a lot of sushi in my life. Despite not usually leaving negative reviews, I decided to share my experience here as I chose this restaurant based on its ratings, which I found to be very misleading. It truly put a damper on our day. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 special rolls, and 3 standard rolls. The appetizers were mediocre and were recommended by the waitress as popular choices. Given the close to perfect rating, expectations were rather high. The restaurant looked great and seating service was quick and passable on a Tuesday night. Unfortunately my complete meal was not as complementary. My plates certainly looked great but the rice in both my entrees was not properly prepared and seasoned. The seaweed used for my roll was not crisp meaning it was either not toasted or stored properly before service to account for the humidity. The bed of rice in my Chirashi was lightly seasoned with furikake seaweed but that hardly made a difference. It was still under seasoned. We ordered takeout from here. Our bill was around $75, delivered. When the bag arrived, I was surprised at how light it was. When we looked at what we were given, the portions were quite small and not very good. The food was just alright. Sushi was passable but not super fresh. The Tuna Tataki salad was laughable, it was so small with so little tuna. Our order of two sushi rolls and salmon sashimi came in the smallest sushi container I have ever seen. Seriously, not a good value at all. There are so many other places to find good food in the area. This wouldn’t be my choice.
The service at this restaurant was slow and a roll I ordered that was supposed to be gluten free had tempura crunch in it, but they were able to remake the roll. Despite the slow service, the sushi was delicious. The restaurant was busy on a Friday night, which may have contributed to the slow service. The atmosphere was rated a 4 out of 5.
For those with gluten dietary restrictions, be cautious when ordering. The price per person for dinner was between $50-100. Overall, the food was rated a 5, service a 2, and atmosphere a 4.

Super Comfy location! The food was delicious and the service was very efficient. This restaurant is byob they have a good selection of sushi and other Japanese meals if you're not into sushi. Good portion sizes as well. Definitely worth have a like date night here
After years of walking by this restaurant my family and I decided to try Fuji. My husband and I usually go to Wanda BYOB (side note we love Wanda's). I wasn't expecting Omkase level food but was under whelmed by everything including the miso soup.
