full moon oyster bar is a great place to get fresh oysters and other species of seafood! instead of regular seating, customers sit at one of the four bars in the restaurant and a server is at every bar to take drinks and food orders. the seat is a little tight and is better suited for smaller parties, but everyone, both the personal and other customers, are super friendly! the personal is friendly, attentive and wears warming with funny seafood puns. the atmosphere is very casual and the vibes are tightly knitted. about eating, it was delicious. everything was breathtakingly boiled and freshly costed. calamari: satisfied bite! the squid tasted fresh and was soft. it was not stiff or chewing....
Ordered the Full Moon Special and it was DELICIOUS! Our Server was thoughtful and friendly....BUT... the two Hostess girls at the front entrance were running around the Bar and Restaurant laughing and yelling out. Unfortunately, I had the displeasure of being seated at the end of the Bar, right next to them. I sure didn't expect the Restaurant to have the atmosphere of a Public Library, but it was annoying and super distracting having to listen to them cackling in my ear while we were trying to enjoy our beautiful meal. My fiance and i stopped in yesterday for an early dinner before going to a concert and had a great time. It was our first time at this location because we live in greensboro and go to the one in jamestown. But it was a great choice. The food was delicious and our server Ty was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. He told us about thier chef special and sold it so well my fiance ordered it and it was sooo delicious! Definately recommend going by to see Ty and have some really good seafood!
Went there today. Atmosphere is nice, wait staff is good.Beer is very cold which was good. I ordered 1 lb of steamed shrimp, my wife ordered a basket of fish, oysters and fish. Portions were large, I ate part of hers. The potatoes and slaw that are included with the meal are very good. I'd give them a 4.5, Good oyster bar too didn't order them today, but have in the past. Good place to go and have some good seafood and drinks.

Very crowded. And this was at 9 pm. Great smells. Great looking seafood. We went for my neices 16 th birthday. We had an awesome waiter! We had the Best King crab legs potatoes slaw! Everyone was on top of everything in keeping fillups of drinks so forth. Had a great time with great peeps !! Will definitely go back.. Thank you folks!!
Decent place for oysters and some naw'lyns grub. Dirty martini is really dirty. Just the way I like it. Shrimp etouffe portion is generous. Asked mine to be less spicy which is perfect.Update: came back in July and ordered the crab legs. Well seasoned. We also ordered crab legs at market price.
This is one of my favorite seafood restaurants. Nice seafood joint atmosphere. Great selection and food is fresh and delicious! Photos are of a shrimp and oyster po' boy sandwich and seafood gumbo.
very nice atmosphere and the music was great. not a place to take children, it is definitiw for adults and they have a really nice time to leave the children home for once.
