This is not my first visit to Fusion Cafe, but cleanliness is their big issue.They seldom clear up the table after customers gone, so every time I went there, at least three or four tables were not cleaned up. This time me and my wife went there at around 2pm, only 5 tables of customers having meal. We chose the table that looks tidy as their staff brought us to the area that most tables were full of dirty dishes. We sat down, there's a fly kept bugging my face, I looked around and found out there're 2 glasses of tea that belonged to the last customers on that table. Fusion is favourite restaurant in Burwood for breakfast, lunch and dinners. They have a good selection of hot pots, soups, seafood and meat dishes. They have a good selection of drinks with the hot milk tea being a favourite with my wife. Service is efficient and there is never a significant wait for food even though the restaurant is usually pretty full. One tip is to raise your hand when you want the wait staff to take your orders. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced and usually comes out at less than $20 per person for food and a drink. We tried this place as we hadn't been there before. I'm told this is a very "Hong Kong-esque" cafeteria. That's fine, but I found the food bland and not kind to my stomach later. Perhaps I just don't appreciate the type of food they offer?...More
