Popped in on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for a refreshing cocktail after shopping for hours. We're seated promptly as they weren't terribly busy. And then we waited and waited for a server. And then we watched another table who entered well after us, receive prompt service. Finally after about 15 minutes we placed a drink order and asked for ice water also. And then we waited some more and were getting up to leave when our order arrived minus the glasses of icewater. When we advised the same server who took our order that we asked for ice water she apologized, left and never came back. Really lovely evening. We had been to several restaurants in Charleston this past weekend which were just too noisy and happening . Gabrielle was a lovely reprieve with attentive, genteel service, quiet sophisticated atmosphere and delicious food with nice sized proportions. Wine list was approachable and fairly priced Oysters were local and delicious. We really weren 't that hungry and decided to split the caesar salad (more than enough) as well as a small plate tuna dish (essential tuna tartar) and mango prawns all was delicious and beautifully plated. Finished off with fabulous decaf cappuccino and a scoop each of pumpkin and vanilla ice cream. Perfect evening! Would definitely come back.
The food and service were great! We had oysters on the half shell and roasted oysters for appetizers (which were both amazing) and my husband had the duck confit and I had the swordfish. My husband said his duck confit was one of the best ever and my swordfish was incredible. The service by Alex was wonderful!
We were welcomed and promptly seated. Carla, our waitress, was able to clearly described the chef's offerings. She and her colleagues were responsive but not intrusive. The pace of service added to our enjoyment and conversation. A lovely comfortable and upscale evening.

Celebrated our 34 wedding anniversary and was not disappointed! From hostess to wait staff we had a great experience. The filet was better than what we?ve had at Halls Chophouse and the oysters Rockefeller were delicious. Kudos to the staff and chefs!
Our food was incredible and our server (and water/roll service server) was lovely, informative and friendly. Beautiful spot and and delicious food.
