So disappointed I had been here a couple of weeks ago and chose to come back for my birthday last night. The service, though she was pleasant, was beyond slow and forgetful we were served appetizers at different times, forgotten parts of the meal and cocktails altogether. The spaghetti, done in the wheel, was overcooked, bland and mushy. The best part of the meal was the seafood crepe. The Rest was average and not something any of us would order again. The man at the table on the end did not stop speaking loudly for the entire time we were there. Honestly, it was obvious and should have been addressed it was extremely unpleasant. Gallo is either amazing or off. Generally speaking it’s amazing, the food, drinks, service and overall experience. This previous time off. The service was slow (and it wasn’t crazy). We said we don’t need any water yet they brought it out 4 times no big deal. They put us in the outside and it was too cold even with the heaters but there was a hole that made it unpleasant. Food and drinks were great and our waitress was great. Maybe just an off night.
Intriguing menu selection, with a good and reasonably priced wine list. We had the Filet Mignon Carpaccio, Calamari, Caesar Salad and pasta shells with sausage. The staff very kindly divided the salad and pasta for us to share. Really lovely ambience; we'll definitely return.
Second time choosing Gallo Ristorante before show at Ridgefield Playhouse. We live an hour away and would make the drive for good food and service again!

This was our first time at Gallo. We definitely will go back to have dinner again. It was an enjoyable time and the food was excellent.
Dinner was delicious! Service great! Atmosphere a bit dark, but otherwise a perfect birthday celebration.
