My spouse and I dined here tonight after checking out the positive reviews posted online. We were disappointed to say the least. Initial service was ok, but once we had our main entrees no one came to our table to check on us, refill our water bottle, or ask if we wanted other drinks, etc.. We both ordered pasta dishes and mine (spaghetti with truffle cream and mushrooms) was marginally better than my spouse's, his had absolutely no taste or flavour (pappardelle with mushrooms). Considering the price of both dishes and the supposed high ratings from others, we were truly disappointed. I was craving some good original Italian food and asked a friend who lives in a Paris since "ever" to take me to a good and traditional Italian restaurant. She immediately suggested Gambino! I have been there already three times (in 2 months) and I totally recommend it if you're looking for delicious traditional Italian food. The place has a perfect atmosphere, staff is always nice, food is DELICIOUS, price is average in Paris ... you won't regret . Carbonara is tasty, pizzas are really good, even salads are on point! Un joli Resto italien situé à quelques pas du Louvre et de l'opéra. Déco soignée, ambiance sympa et détendue, service efficace. Accueil très correct.Les pizzas étaient bonnes mais un peu grasses en ce qui concerne la Verona.Une pizzeria donc correcte, bonne sans plus. Idéal pr un dîner rapide et pas trop cher ds Paris. Mais ne vous attendez pas à un supplément d'âme ou à une soirée resto inoubliable avec votre compagnon/compagne.
We brought our group of 9 here (5 kids among us) and it was perfect! Everyone of the picky eaters found something they loved and our waiter was accommodating to us American's who like lots of water to drink with our meals. One of the only places where they didn't make us purchase bottled water. The food was outstanding, so much that we came back the next night for dinner. Highly recommend.

Un très bon restaurant Italien où nous sommes venue 2 fois lors de notre séjour à Paris. Le restaurant est très joli, les pizzas sont vraiment très bonnes, le prix et correct par rapport à la qualité. Nous avons été très bien accueilli et servi.
Popped in here as my son wanted Pizza and Pizza Hut wasn't an option while visiting Paris. It's a cellar type eatery with cold beers, hot food and friendly staff. We were thrilled at the speed and quality of our meals. Would return again.
