The food is ok but the attitude of one of the personnel (Wofgang) was more than terrible and humiliating. We are not going there ever again and will definitely visit more often the Laercherstubl, where the food is very good and personnel kind and the service excellent. The situation is described further on in order to be able to judge by yourself. We came (3 persons) before lunch time around 11.00 a.m. for a coffe and wanted to stay for lunch further on at 12.00, when the rest of the group would join. I noticed that a sign ,reserved’ at 13.00 is on the table where we were sitting (by the way if you ask, they don’t take the reservations) and I considerately asked our waiter Wolfgang to reserv...
Stopped here for a quick byte and a beer while sliing. It looks really nice inside and it was quite full. We sat outside and after 5 minutes figured out that it is self service outside (no sign anywhere). So we went inside to order and they took our order snd were afterwards very confused what I ordered and brought me weong dessert twice. It took almost 20 minutes to get the proper order while standing around the bar area (luckily I did get the beer immediately). The bratwurst itself was quite good, pommes much less so (too dry). The dessert of classic germknodel mit vanilla sauce was good, but it did not have enough vanilla sauce. All together average due to bad service. P.S. went for coffe...
It's always nice to stop here. Rather spacious mountain chalet offering very good food and quite a selection. It is self-service if you sit outside, which can mean long waiting que (it already happened that we went to another one due to that). But if you decide to sit inside, you get very nice and fast service. Food is delicious. Make sure you taste their soups. Super tasty!
I have ordered germknoedel mit vanila sauce. Knoedel was not enough soft, too little vanila sauce, chocolate with cream was rather water with some cacao, bombardinio less than other restaurants offers. Nothing to be exited.
