"This is my go-to restaurant for lunch with my girlfriends. I rarely venture from the fried rice with their salt and pepper tofu because it's SO good, but the specials often tempt me as do the dumplings. I've never been disappointed by the food or service."

SNAPSHOT great dumplings take center stage but you'll want to meet the supporting cast updated details below. As of June 1st, lunch service has been discontinued at Charlotte Street but will still available at Gan Shan Station West. I have yet to get there but am eager to check it out. Dumplings, like most other dishes here, come in vegan versions and are not just afterthoughts. Veggies are used smartly at Gan Shan. Gai Lon is excellent! Very nicely spicy and full of flavor. Kimchi is a nice addition to this menu. It is fresh and made with great care and with a true love for the dish. Szechuan Cucumbers are really nice side dish. I am looking forward to going for dinner, but that just might...

When is asheville, this is the place to visit! the rice bowl was the victory...Fried reis is full of smoked taste and tasty fried chicken. Beans-girl was such a good note to fried rice. chicken wings were extra tasteful with asian touch! noodles of the day were taste of pork and were good, but I think the next time id like to try something else. the chicken ramen noodle dish is the one meal I would not recommend! it looked delicious, but after my taste I would not recommend. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the waitress was super friendly.

I sat outside, it was nice. had a ram bowl that was so pretty that I didn't want to eat it! it was as delicious as it looked. I'm going back. the second visit as well as update the first. they love the way they have decorated the inner (it was actually a gas station, so the name). I appreciate the fact that the menu is small, but has a beautiful variety. get a Saki flight if they are not sure what to drink, although the inventive cocktails are beautiful and not too fussy.

It was a cool place! Really great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Dumplings were delicious. Would get those again. Food overall was good but not super flavorful and the drunken noodles were not spicy at all chili oil didn’t bump it up much either. Bummer! Nevertheless, fun spot. Sake selection was wonderful and staff were helpful in our selection :
