Ganga Asian Bistro was a good experience. The decor is well above par as is the bar and menu. The restaurant and bar are busy on this Friday night. The cocktail menu is very imaginative with many choices. The prices are a bit out of line for central NJ, $17 a cocktail is a bit much. I was really looking forward to dining here, especially after a 35-minute journey to get there. The service was good, and the ambiance was nice. I've heard great things about this place, so I feel bad about writing a negative review, but I have to be honest. The soup portion was generous, but I wished it had a bit more flavor, like soultang. The salad was good, although it's not my usual preference. The laughing roll, however, was disappointing; it tasted off to the point where I struggled to finish it. I managed to eat only half. Was actually pretty excited to come here. Drove about 35 min to get here. Service was good. Place is cute. I read good things about it. And So I feel bad giving a bad rating, but it is what it is.. Soup portion was great but wish there was a little more seaweed etc. salad was good. Not my type but was good. my salmon roll tasted bad; to the point I couldn’t finish it and forced myself to have half. the tempura salmon roll was good. this worst for me was this; my spicy tuna had a scale in it. I had to pull it out of my mouth with my fingers.
Changing my review. Service was HORRIBLE. Slow and absent minded at 2:00pm 2 beverages never came, we had to ask twice. Had to ask multiple times for things.Asked for no ice, got ice, no salmon please in my roll, charged $3.00 to remove an item $6.00 to use my debit card. The prices were not worth the quality. I don’t mind spending if it’s worth it but not here. Never again Dietary restrictions: Allergic to shellfish Not many sushi peices with out a lobster Crab, shrimp or scallop and I can’t eat that

Service was terrible, they gave us the check before asking us if we wanted dessert. Took our plates away without asking if we were finished, everything was rushed.
