Wir hatten ein Candlelight-Dinner "Deluxe" gebucht. Aufgrund des nasskalten Wetters bekamen wir einen Tisch im Inneren des Restaurants zugewiesen. Der Abstand zwischen den beiden Wänden, der Nische in dem der Tisch stand war recht klein, man konnte kaum vom Tisch abrücken. Die Gaststube kann man mit urig gut umschreiben.Das Candlelight bestand aus einer Kerze, die auf allen anderen Tischen auch stand. Da einer von uns keinen Fisch aß und wir beide kein Freund von Leber, egal von welchem Tier, war die Küche minimalst gefodert das Menü anzupassen.Leider wurde beim Hauptgang dann einfach die Entenleber weggelassen und durch nichts ersetzt, damit war der Zwischengang umfangreicher als der Hauptg...
The restaurant is in three parts, one with usual restaurant tables which we were told was not in use when we visitied, one with nice wooden panelling which seemed quite large but we didn't go in it and the middle section with nice wooden panelling but the seats were all bench style.The menu was fairly short but a very helpful waitress organised a good salad for me from her own suggestions.The wine list was expensive, although what we had was reasonable quality.Service was mixed, our waitress was the star, others were uninterested. We went elsewhere for the rest of our stay and would not return.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner here. The food was fresh and tasty, the service very friendly. What more can one ask for? The restaurant belongs tot he Hotel Ganter, which we can only recommend for its outstanding cleniness and its perfect location if you want...to visit Reichenau.
Ein Blick in die Karte und man will alles auf einmal probieren. Die Auswahl fällt schwer. Aber zum Glück bereut man keine Entscheidung. Super Küche - toller Service. Wir drücken dir Daumen für den Koch 2017 - haben aber keine Angst, dass das nicht klappt.

Hervorragende bodenständige Küche. Gemütlich eingerichtetes Restaurant. Ein Platz zum wohlfühlen. Die Qualität der Zutaten sind von ausgezeichneter Qualität und sehr frisch. Alles mit Liebe zubereitet. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.
De séjour sur l'île, nous avons dîné 2 fois dans ce restaurant et avons été enchantés. La cuisine est raffinée, les plats composés des nombreux produits locaux que founit l'ïle de Reichenau. Très bonne adresse à retenir.
They offered a wonderful breakfast buffet daily. We also enjoyed lunch, dinner and a wine tasting. I would highly recommend the restaurant if you are staying in the area.

Spontaneously went there for dinner a la carte (many tables taken by hotel guests on half board) which was really tasty and fresh, especially the local fish dishes
im Vergleich zum ersten Aufenthalt 2016 war der Servive zum Teil aufdringlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Menüauswahl könnte etwas mehr varieren.
