Having been a restaurant owner in Lafayette, I tend to be a bit more critical when dining out, but I try to be observant and fair in terms of my expectations. I’m generally easy to please and appreciate great customer service. When I receive excellent care, I'm more than willing to spend – I’ll gladly open my wallet! There is always an issue when I order from this restaurant. Although I don't order from them frequently, every time I do, something goes wrong. The first time I ordered, I requested a later delivery time, but they arrived an hour early because they misread the time. The second time I ordered a half cheese and half pepperoni pizza, but they only gave me a pepperoni pizza. Another time, the estimated delivery time was 6:30 pm, but they didn't arrive until 7:25 pm. The quality of the pizza is decent, but I'm hesitant to continue ordering from this local restaurant.
I work near Garlex Pizza and always enjoy their friendly and accommodating service. Whenever my boss treats us to lunch, we always choose Garlex. They bring our orders to us promptly and their cheeseburger is a must-try if you're not in the mood for pizza. The burger is delicious with its bread roll, Parmesan cheese, and toppings. The owner, Gary, is very kind and the atmosphere is casual with a great vibe from the employees. The menu has a lot of options and you can choose to dine in or take out. Don't just take my word for it - go try it for yourself!

We typically order two medium pizzas—one with pepperoni and half cheese, and the other a combo. For those who like a little heat, I highly recommend trying the Ole pizza.

The pizza at this restaurant is fantastic, but the service could be improved. They recommend that customers refrain from using DoorDash and order through another website. However, there seems to be a lack of quality control in the service. My pizza was delivered 20 minutes late, and when I called to check on it, I was only told "it's coming" both times.
Garlex is one of those pizza spots that reminds you of pizza in the glory days of your childhood. Great pizza crust, the sauce is the old school one you want also. Great wings. We get two mediums, pepperoni and half cheese, and combo. I also really likethe Ole if you like spicy.
The same staff has been there years. Fast easy pizza, kids like it, and they do parties there, but the taste of the pizza is not an adult favorite. I’ll eat it, but after having better pizza ???? Save this one for the kids
Love this pizzeria. Jose is the stand out man! Great customer service and quality food and drinks. Not going to get bougie drinks, it's a pizza and beer kinda ol school setting.
