Garlic and Lemons used to be one of the best shawarma places in the Boston area, and I've been going there for 15 years. I've seen it improve over time, but it has recently taken a significant turn for the worse. The staff seems to lack a proper understanding of Middle Eastern cuisine. Often, the shawarma meat is pre-cut and left to dry out in a heating tray, when it should be sliced fresh for each wrap to ensure the meat remains juicy and flavorful.

I ordered a mixed meat platter, accompanied by mint kefir and osmalia for dessert. Everything was excellent, but I must highlight that I will never skip the osmalia again. It's a delightful combination of tofu and sweet cheesecake, perfectly balanced without being overly sweet.

A pita roll must mean something different than a Shawarma. The pita chips had more weight to it then this so-called Shawarma. I can’t believe that my sides will be the entrée tonight. Just plain disrespectful.
