This place is destined to become a legendary landmark should NJ be destroyed and we had to select which places were most memorable in our history. The ambiance and decor here are unique and beautiful all which seems to be artistically balanced and well taken care of. Beautiful backend restaurant settings, a large wood based bar setting, with side stations where darts and other games are available. The goal of my visit was to explore and savor their craft beers that are brewed onsite. I visit many breweries to explore their brews and while one finds many winners, there's always a few brews that aren't agreeable with your tastebuds. At Gaslight Brewery, every beer I sampled was a hit! There we...

Might have been an off-day for the guy, but the younger bartender (or bartender-in-training) didn’t know what beer I wanted when I asked for the stout. There was only one stout on the menu. Maybe there was another on special? I wasn’t sure, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, so I specified I wanted the stout on tap. I figured that a brewery with one stout would serve a classic stout. Anyway, it had soured, or it was purposefully sour? Either way, it shouldn’t be marketed solely as a stout (and definitely shouldn’t be the only Stout on the menu at a Brewery). There was no indication in the menu description that the stout should be sour, but the foam was spotting on the top it had...
I should have listened to the reviews, but decided to give it a shot. Sorry but if you run a brew pub for the love of everything holy have some decent bar food. Word of advice to ownership skip the full menu and concentrate on good a few good apps and maybe a couple of sandwiches. Wife had what the menu described as southern fried chicken thighs which turned out to be baked and bland as hell. A dash of hot sauce does not make it even remotely southern chicken. I thought I would be safe with a burger but needless to say I couldn’t more like wouldn’t finish it no sense in going into that detail and lastly change the taps beer was flat as hell on all 4 I tried from a flight. 2 stars only becaus...
A neighborhood pub feel with quirky old fashioned decor. Bar up front and sit down seating in back (suitable for families). An extensive food and drink/beer menu a bit on the pricey side. $14 for 4 catfish fingers (no sides). $16 for a shrimp appetizer only 4 shrimp but very delicious and accompanied by focoaccia and thin breaded fried onions with a hint of spice. Also tried a kahlua coldbrew with amaretto and rumd rink...tasty and mild. The staff is friendly and the service was quick (on a thur night). Bathrooms are clean and they have a jukebox that lets you buy songs from your phone. A fun, tasty choice to stop into. Book a table now
Tried 2 of the 6 or so beers on tap that are brewed by Gaslight. One stout and one rye ale. Both were disappointing for their style. The rye was bland and the stout was way too sweet. Their specialty burger a pig a chicken walk into a brewpub was cooked well but flavor wise was just ok, probably a victim of so many flavors being combined that none of them were distinguishable in the end result. The staff was attentive.
Such a local gem! We’ve been a few times now and the food is really good, the service is great, the beers are great, and they are very family friendly (though I do wish they would install a changing table in the restroom). The garlic shrimp are a must get so yummy!
Loved this place! Went there for drinks and food. Service was great and I had the blood orange beer, it was delicious. Definitely recommend checking this place if you’re looking for a nice laid back vibe. Also we had the bbq chicken quesadilla and it was so good.
The service was great. Molly was a fantastic waitress always coming to the table with a smile. Everyone loved what they ordered. I got the antegator burger. It was full of flavor and moist. I only wish I got waffle fries because they're my favorite. Book a table now
Haven't been to this place in over 10 years. Came last night for a function and had a BLAST! Food was pretty, workers very friendly. Great place to come.
