This is a very traditional, rustic bavarian restaurant which offers several vegan options in their standard menu. In the summertime you can also enjoy dining in the beergarden. The staff seems well trained on the definition of vegan. They offer different options for starters (such as a nice big salad with mushrooms) and mains such as Thai curry, a Burger and a pasta dish. The pizza bread is also very recommendable (and a big portion if ordered as a side for the salad). The only drawback is that there are no vegan dessert options. It looks from the outside and inside like a typical bavarian restaurant. Normaly those don't have any vegan options on the main dishes. But this one is different. There are supresingly a lot of vegan and vegetarien dishes and ther a cleary labeled on the menu. There is no english menu but the stuff is realy friendly and helpful. Well it would be perfect if it would be completly vegan but this is in this kind of small town still a long way to go.
I would like to have dressed something other than pasta/pizza/burger (material, knödel or so,) but otherwise I am very happy! competent staff, cozy equipment and quick preparation. had a pizza and the teig was really delicious.
very cozy, you can sit inside or outside. high quality juices and beer. many vegan options featured in the card, zb burger, kartoffelrösti, brotzeit.
