after a few hours walking around the beautiful old town of Bernkastel-Kues (a twin town in 1905) on the river mosel and from the early stone age (4000-3000 w. chr.) we passed on this magnificent ice cream, which is actually a gas house with. of smiling, friendly staff, there was a series of suppening, sandwiches, schinitzel – a speciality (building was a metzger by many previous generations egg dishes (prices from E12.50) beer and wein – a large selection of the latter. it has enjoyed a relaxed lunch at a reasonable price. the restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 to 17:30. there is not much space, so not for small children maybe, although older children were present. also toilets on...
the German lead dinge on the clock, not true. we were not too late, but they closed and we felt it. not that we were badly served, but there was no doubt that they would close in time. that gave up a little “slide”. our experience, so even when we were served, they were polite and eating was (more than) ok, the feeling was fast eating,
I had only the breakfast here, but it was easy, but nice, and the service was very good. there were some people eating out when I walked out, so I guess it's gonna have to eat pretty good.
