the dense is a very small town that is only a short drive away from melk. the restaurant is able to handle a tourist bus and a few more, but do not let them stop. it still has the hospitality they would look for in a family restaurant. if they have a wish that is not on the menu, make sure they ask the waitress what she can do. prices are very reasonable: carving 9,40€ wein 1/8 liter about 3€, and one dessert approx. 5€. everything tasted great. we sat outside and enjoyed the weather, but there are also tables inside. they also sell some of their specialties to take home. great place, highly recommended!
pömling has a lot of nature and that offers the locals a good source of were and products they know how to explore the best away in this place that we wanted to visit for a long time. the best place in...times of food, prospects and beautiful chilled environment and many animals from the farm that they posses. so a great tasty bites of the beautiful owners sonja and french great souls and passionate about the delivery of the best they are to any type of guests and their food along with a glass local wine is the best literally. we had luck coming to the place. we are back to the finals.
Wir haben unter Kollegen einen Ausflug in die Wachau gemacht und dort zu Abend gegessen. Personal war sehr freundlich, Essen war hervorragend- man ist auch auf unsere Extrawünsche eingegangen. Der Hof an sich ist ein wahres Paradies, vor allem für Kinder. Esel, Pferde, Kaninchen, Hochwild, riesiger Spielplatz, etc. - fad wirds bestimmt nicht!
Super nette Gastgeber, tolles Essen und sehr schöne Umgebung zum Wandern, Reiten . Großartig für Familien mit Kindern toller Spielplatz und Kleintiere. Waren mit Wohnwagen auf dem Platz es gibt Wasser und Strom. Kann ich 100% Weiterempfehlen und wir kommen sicher wieder

eine Wirtin mit gutem "Schmäh", flottes Service, Gutes aus der Küche, Manches auch vom eigenen Hof und der eigenen Jagd und großer Auslauf für jung und alt. Fein. An Spitzentagen bitte um Verständnis für Wartezeiten. Insgesamt: sehr in Ordnung!
Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Qualität der Speisen und das auch aus dem Munde von meinem Vater, der immer sehr kritisch ist, einzig die Nachspeisen haben noch ein wenig Luft nach oben. Wir kommen auch ein anderes Mal gerne wieder.
Nur ein vegetarisches Gericht (Kaspressknödel), war gut aber auch nicht hervorstechend. Kürbiscremesuppe schmeckte etwas fad und wässrig. Deftige Fleischspeisen gibt es zur Genüge (teilweise aus eigener Schlachtung) - wer's mag.
Waren zufällig in der Gegend und machten einen kurzen Stopp in dem Gasthof. Das rundherum ist ein kleines Paradies für sich. Leider hatten wir keinen Hunger. Die Jausenplatte sah sehr lecker aus. Auf jeden Fall zum empfehlen.
