We came here as a small group, as a local said, the food was good and there was an English-speaking waiter. Unfortunately he had already finished his shift and it took us 10 minutes to order our meals for 6 of us....We usually have what we wanted, except for a few things, but this is the language barrier so no problem. The 6th meal came out 10 minutes later, while my vegetables and chips were sitting on the table and cold at the time my carving arrived. There were also Mosquitos who kicked us inside, so we bite quickly and left, while the lady waitress shook something under her breath. There were much better places to eat on Main Street so we wouldn't go back.
They stayed in the area and thought we would give it a try very pleasantly surprised. We were able to sit outside, which was nice, although it is more cafe than remarkable views. Our waiter spoke English, and there was an English menu (but like...more places, there has not listed all the options on the local menu). We had soup, main and dessert, different choices, and all three of us enjoyed our meals. Appropriately expensive, beer also not bad.
I thought we had a nice meal here, but I didn't expect it to be so excellent. It's not nice, but it's delicious! The service was friendly and competent, the wines of the glass were well chosen and affordable, and the fried... Chicken was simply super skinless, moist, tasteful, not greasy. When I went to the rather simple garden, I didn't expect anything special, but I was very happy with our meal here and will definitely go back.
Ich habe während des Lockdowns mehrmals am Sonntag hier Essen für meine Familie geholt- und werde es gerne wieder tun. Letzten Sonntag z. B. Gans und Karpfen. Beide Gerichte waren sehr gut,von Topqualität und hervorragend zubereitet. Schön, dass es im 17. Bezirk jenseits der Vorortelinie ein Top Restaurant gibt ! Kompliment an die Küche und die immer freundlichen Mitarbeiter !

Wirklich ausgesprochen nettes Service, echt guter Veltliner und der mohnkuchen ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Künftig ein Fixpunkt bei meinen Dürnstein Besuchen.
