there is a narrow curvey road leading up to the restaurant, and it takes a while until you reach the lonely retauarnt. situated on a small mountain it gives you a spectacular view over lake zurich and the mountains behind fabulous the restaurant itself is gemuetlich , offering good home cooking dishes, nothing fancy but all real and a choice of fresh salads, vegetarian is on the menu as well. maybe one should chose a beer to go with , the wines are just alright. service is fine but the main reason to come is the view. terrace seating is available
Tolles hügel restaurant mit sehr autentischer speisekarte ! Bis anhin wusste ich gelernter koch was ein argauer schweisbraten ist aber nicht was ein walliser braten sein soll . Jetzt weiss ich es ! Wir hatten zwei glas schweizer weiss wein zum apero danach zwei glas schweizer rotwein und einen liter schweizer mineral mit, zwei mal schnitzel pommes frites mit gemüse ketchup und mayo inbergriffen . Cafe schümli pflümli und eine ganz tolle bedienung ! Wir kommen wieder .
Sehr schönes Bergrestaurant mit sehr guter bürgerlicher Küche. Alles sehr lecker und gute Portionen. Sehr schöne Aussenterasse und einen tollen Blick kann man geniesen. Ein grosser Spielplatz für die Kleinen auch vorhanden, echt Klasse für Familien. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereite Personal. Parkplätze vorhanden, aber eine Wanderung hinauf sehr zu empfehlen. Um das Restaurant kann man schön laufen oder wandern. Wir kommen wieder.
It was our first time there, but probably not the last time. ; It's not on the way for us, but the trip there was absolutely worth it. Very nice staff, delicious food, a fantastic view and the fresh breeze was a relief on this hot day! The forest below is also wonderfully pleasant for hiking.

We always chose to go there when the weather is nice as we grant an breathtaking view of the area. It is always busy and worth to make a reservation on sunny days. Service is super attentive and the atmosphere is quite familiar so you feel relax and comfortable while enjoy nice food and view.
