We heard a lot about this place and wanted to try. Last time we tried to get in, they had a barbecue and the restaurant was not open. Don't get me wrong the barbecue party was great food amazing, live music and other restaurants from the area were invited. It was also a fun with many options and good ambience. We had time to try the restaurant yesterday. The waitress was super attentive, she gave very honest and good recommendations. We've eaten here twice, and both times I had the Wiener Schnitzel, which is well prepared and presented. It is a generous part with fried potatoes and a salad. The other courses that were over looked good and smelled good. Based on the entire menu, I think it offers good value for money. The beer and wine on the glass is good and the decor is pleasant. The service is warm and friendly, but the name is very confusing, it could be called by many things to see on the living area of the building. It doesn't prevent us from visiting her again.
We were taken there by a cousin, who's son had designed the lighting, so were prepared for a great experience. The place is very modest looking, but packed, so they must be doing something right. Our food was very good and reasonably priced, so that was part of the explanation. It is very much into the farm to table movement.
Stop over in Bad Tolz and looked for a recommendation for Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed, the food was super and tasty served and service secondly not spoken with excellent English. Would recommend.
