If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion, Family Reunion or go to a restaurant that is on a level of a Michelin stared Restaurant I highly recommend visiting the restaurant located at Der Unterwirt. Upon entering the restaurant I was immediately made feel very welcome. The restaurant was almost fully seated. I was worried that I would be a able to get a table. My worries subsided and was seated to an amazing table on its own near the kitchen. Honestly I loved my table and the atmosphere was beyond amazing. I ordered my drink and was given plenty of time to look over the menu. My waitress was very professional and so friendly. She explained everything to me due to my very basic Germ...

Wollte mir mal was gönnen, leider gab es zwischen der Vor- und Hauptspeise einen länger anhaltenden Stromausfall aber der Reihe nach. Empfangen wurde ich sehr herzlich auch meine stets treue 4beinige Begleiterin. Auf Wunsch hat man mir draußen einen schönen überdachten Tisch gegeben. Da ich mich vorab für das 5-Gänge-Menü entschieden habe, gab es eine persönliche Menükarte mit meinem Namen, das fand ich schon richtig herzlich. Das Essen war ein Traum bis zum Stromausfall, hat aber der Stimmung (drinnen fand noch eine Hochzeit statt) keinen Abbruch getan. Am staying at the hotel and went for dinner with my finance's family. This is the best meal that I have had in recent memory. I had the pork filet with sauce a la Robert (the chef) with rice and pancake. Absolutely perfect. Started with a cream soup that was perfect flavor and texture. This hotel and restaurant have just been redone. I am not sure what the food was like before, but I can attest to its excellence now. BRAVO!
the underwirt is a hotel with the special charm. this begins with the greeting through the waiter and leads to the best table-spitz I have ever eaten, sorry dear plachutta! the cozyness in the hotel is indescribably pleasant and relaxing. I'd almost call it an "eating with friends." we will definitely come back to try the legendary imperial bullies. ;-)
Living and eating at the opera in Erl. It doesn't get any better than this! A fantastic team takes care of everything. The rooms facing the quiet green courtyard are beautiful and the kitchen is an experience at any time of the day.
