this restaurant sets the bar incredibly high for any other experience they have ever lived in their whole. drive the narrow and stunning mountain roads they will be already in a pleasant mood. a word, views! the location is only exceptionally beautiful. on one side they are greeted by the beautiful lake of constancy in all its magnificentness, on the other side the fantastic mountain chain of the world-famous alps. my heart melted a little bit when we sat, our thoughtful waitress offered tiny stools to our pockets and of course, I liked to take. for the main course we ordered this and it was what the French call magnifique et parfait. eating served a delicious amuse beech and cute petit four...
I celebrated a double birthday with some friends who had never been here. it was an explosion of different flavors that were perfectly married to each other....Walter and his team best! the dishes were perfectly presented. one of the guests had special...their requirements that were managed on the fly by the team. I must provide the service team that has made an extraordinary job discreetly when they needed it.
Loved every moment of our evening here. Idyllic setting, lovely staff (Antonia was our wonderful waitress), incredible cellar, and an extensive, excellent menu. My companions did the tasting menu and I ordered a la carte. Everything was beautiful and delicious, and the service made us...feel extremely welcome and cared after.
I've visited the place three times in the last three years. Amazing. The best view of Lake Constance the weather permitting, the best food (in my view) in North Eastern Switzerland, top service and the Wine Cellar is just incredible. This of course comes to...a price but I could recommend it without any hesitation whatsoever
