We were invited to the “Stief” on a business trip.The restaurant is located very close to the center of Schrobenhausen, an easy walk when you stay in town. There are plenty of parking lots.On the way to the “Gaststube” you will pass the butchery, where they sell all the excellent meat they also serve in the restaurant.The restaurant is very vivid, has a typical Bavarian ambiente, with old furniture, pictures, wooden tables etc.We visited for lunch and the menu is not extensive, however provides typical Bavarian specialties. The beer obviously is good and you better don’t ask for wine. They will provide some but everybody goes for beer!The portions were huge, while the cost is very reasonable...
we were there to eat in the time of spade. we were four and had to sit on a six table despite reservation with two strangers.Two of us had a spade, two something else.At first came a spade and a carving. when both were almost eaten, the second economical dish and my allgäuer schnitzel came. that's not fun.But then the champignons were made of dose or glass and the cheese puffs with a slice of cheese baked late zle.
we were on the way and saw the restaurant passing by. We still stopped there because many cars stood there. Inside we were welcomed very friendly and allowed to sit on a table daz, as all tables were occupied on a Friday afternoon. also something came into the years; but with charm. the order went fast and friendly. our court came to two tellers. so nothing for the small hunger;-) quality and taste was excellent.
we come from Spain. we wanted to eat typical Bavarian and the restaurant was really a hit. I can only say that the steak with a pfeffer sauce was just divine. I've never had such a delicious lunch here. the owner was really friendly and although we had not reserved, he found a place for us (was almost all full and reserved, was the day of the German unit ). the services are very helpful. today was a great day. typical Bavarian restaurant with traditional cuisine. on the extensive menu, everyone finds something suitable. especially recommended are the excellent economical dishes during the season, but also all the others are high quality, plentiful and very tasty.We are always happy there.
friendly staff. the chef is here and looks for the right. have been there several times and have always been served. Eating has tasted us all very well. (6 people).Interior fits this traditional house. own metzgerei in the house. also recommended
I always like to be in the local to enjoy deftige good bourgeois food. the facility is very rustic, the service friendly, the service good and the eating delicious.
