For more than 55 years in the region of Ost-Frankfurt, we finally managed to taste the restaurant Zur Krone in Höchst from Gelnhausen. My friend Achim Günther from Günther BMW always spoke very strongly about this hidden gem. The photos express our joy in a pretty good way. Service, ambience and the various dishes simply led to more than satisfied patrons. Those looking for something special from the big cities, but still close enough, this restaurant is 5 stars plus. 100% worth it....just pace yourself and keep space for the deserts on offer.
Das Gasthaus "Zur Krone" liegt etwas versteckt im Stadtteil Höchst - Parken etwas triggy. Montags gibt es den "Schnitzeltag" mit unter 10 Euro in allen Varianten fast unschlagbar. Reservieren empfiehlt sich. Die Einrichtung ist schön, die Bedienung flott, man merkt das Familiere im Ablauf. Dazu gib es in der Krone "Kleinkunst" - Programm und Reservierung inkl. Menue am besten im Internet nachsehen. Dazu schreibe ich demnächst was. Insgesamt: empfehlenswert !
