We were staying at the Holiday Inn just a short walk through a field from the Gasthaus Zur Post. My family of was seated promptly and we had great service. The waitress was friendly, the food was tasty, and the servings big enough to...fill up my teenage boys. The apple strudel was the best I have ever had! When we asked the waitress why bier steins have lids, she didn't know for sure, so she asked an older gentleman I assume was a local. We had a short exchange we speak little german and he ended up buying me a bier! You can't beat that for a good experience. I only wish I could have bought him one back before he left
Walked here from the nearby Holiday Inn, group of friends on sunday night. The hostess was very welcoming and provided English menus she also spoke excellent english We ordered a variety of dishes and were all very pleased with the quality of the food....We had pancakes to share for dessert which were delicious. Overall great food, good atmosphere and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend if you would like to try some authentic Bavarian food
Visited this restaurant which was pre booked by family after flying to Munich.Not too far from the hotel we were staying. The food and the drink was excellent.The place had a good atmosphere.The waitress were all dressed in costume and the service could not be...faulted even though there was a lot of us dining.Reasonably priced it was a very good choice for our first night
This is our favourite restaurant in Unterhaching. Staff are really nice, attentive and accommodating. They had an English menu for us and spoke good English so we were very impressed and thankful as our German is not very good. We both had Jägerschnitzel with spätzle...and chips and it was all amazingly good. We came back to have it again on our last day

Great traditional German food had a bunch of sausages to start, both hot and cold, then a nice Cheesy spaetzle with onions Very friendly wait staff fast with the beers big beer menu and all at a reasonable price. Was a...fun time
Dropped in early for dinner with no reservation. Staff made it work and pulled together a table. Food and beverage are good and asparagus and beef tartar very good. Must always be busy, but a little frantic
Enjoyed the schnitzel, white sausages, and beer. Friendly staff. Was very busy when we visited but the service was still excellent. Would definitely eat and drink here again
Came here pretty late to grab a bite to eat and their kitchen was closed so they offered us what two dish was still available. The portion was nice and big..
