Himmelhof - Table reservation

Have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions and I must say I have never been disappointed! A lovely family- run restaurant. Food is good spoilt for choice regarding traditional Austrian cuisine. Portions are good and prices are affordable. Service is not only friendly,...but the owner goes the extra mile to see to it that the guests are happy and is always willing to make recommendations as to the dishes and wines. For a little town, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The only down side being that there is a smoker’s area and you have that lingering smell of smoke.

we found this restaurant after we had asked a local where we should eat. we ate in the pleasant outside area at the back. the service was very attentive, erich seemed really interested in hearing where we were and not rushed, although we did. he was very flexible with the menu so we could order what we wanted. eating was well cooked and presented and the love for detail made it a beautiful experience.

here after the end of the Wolfsklamm path. we read recomendation in tripadvisor and were not disappointed. excellent austrian food, we were all very happy, we had cordon bleu, roasted bark, chicken carving and spaghetti bolognese highly recommended.

great restaurant where I enjoyed diner with 2 children: penne with bolognaise saus (mix of 2 dresses) and the extraordinary goulash (not on menu); large service and parking behind the restaurant: I recommend this friendly place

I had lunch here and had a meal that was not on the menu: goulash with spaetzle. the flesh was super tender; a fantastic meal! thank you!
