Gasthof Metzgerstubn

We've eaten and had a drink here on a number of occasions and always found the atmosphere pleasant and the food wholesome and hearty Austrian fare.On the most recent visit we had a tasty deer ragout, pork with tomato and cheese, cordon bleu and of course a schnitzel. All were good sized portions and delicious.Some of the decor is a bit outdated and if in the no smoking room, you might not get attention all the time as locals get priority who sit in smoking areas.That said we keep going back.

for years, we feel good here when the lust comes to dessert. Previously, the main dishes were better and bigger, this has left my view after something. is still appropriate. the desserts are still a highlight. in the atmosphere or the service was never something to put out.

the chefin serves personally, the offered foods have a consistent high quality and the Pries-Performance ratio fits absolutely. during each stay in St.Michael, an evening meal in the metzgerstub’n is simply included

Austrian menu at the base of our family evening. gulash, small cordon bleu and mixed salads. to mean everything. The final account is slightly high especially in relation to the quality of the dishes.

Very near to St Martin's chalets where we were staying. Very friendly family run with fresh no frills local fare. Were made very welcome on our two visits
