A sense of tradition and good taste made a small jewelry box made of a formal country pup that is good for hikers, bikers and long-runners. The small and concentrated menu does not make promises that it cannot fulfill. Local beers are really tasteful like the soft drinks. The owner and his team have made a steep learning curve and service weaknesses that have occasionally occurred in the first days after the reopening. The team will welcome you. A place to sit and stay long would not be the tempting outdoor activities.... It is especially nice that the parking fee will be given if you have a bit in the restaurant.
In the middle of the mountains, Forrest, is a fantastic house with a few beautiful furnished apartments! The owner Albert is very friendly. It's very quiet here. In front of the house start hiking and cycling trails. To the large Sudelfeld Ski Paradise you need 10 minutes by car, to Bayrischzell for fresh bread or food, you need 3 minutes. It was a perfect holiday!
Ausgezeichneter Schweinsbraten mit Knödel und Krautsalat. Sehr guter Espresso. Kleine Karte, aber für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das Haus wurde liebevoll restauriert und renoviert. Auf youtube gibt es eine Sendung vom BR über die Geschichte und Renovation des Hauses. Lohnt sich anzuschauen.
Im Zuge der Moltke Classix Oldtimer Ausfahrt sind wir beim Zipflwirt eingekehrt. Das Wirtshaus liegt etwas außerhalb von Bayrischzell und ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail wieder zum Leben erweckt worden. Sympathischer Wirt, nettes Personal. Gerne wieder!
