nach mehreren Hinweisen von Freunden auf diesem Gästehaus, kamen wir gestern an einem liebevoll überdachten Tisch. Wir bestellten im sehr freundlichen Service backhuhn mit pommes .after ca. 20 min kam ein großer Teil mit frisch zubereitetem saftigen, perfekt gepflücktem Huhn und knusprigen Pommes sowie Beeren. Sie bemerkten auch die anderen Tische, die hier die Gäste zufrieden sind. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, das wir schwer zu bestellen fanden. Sie bemerkten auch hier alles mit Freude und Liebe zum Detail gemacht. wir werden sicherlich noch zum Barmsteiner kommen, weil dieses Menü noch viel zu kosten ist. Machen Sie so viel Liebe nasssleut!
Beer was good, service was good, food was good. What else should one expect?We passed through Hallein and we passed the place from the car - a feeling all of us shared was that it would be worth to go there for food. We weren't disappointed at all.The funny thing is that in our next visits to nearby Salzburg, we may prefer to get in our car and go to Hallein for food / lunch or dinner "zum Barmstein" than visit some not-nice-at-all place in the crowded Salzburg (20 minutes by car to avoid a food accident is all worth!).
While staying in Hallein during new year's eve, we went to this place for dinner and weren't dissapointed. The service if quite efficient, the prices are friendly and meals are nice (Try out the risotto cooked with courgette ad butter). The place has a little bar where you can also enjoy drinks in case you do not want to eat anything. The staff was friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
